Oasis Project
Providing sustainable clean water via a solar-powered borehole system to 100 children in a rural community in Akuse, Ghana — delivered 21st December 2025.

At Beacon Heart Foundation, we are driven by a deep desire to restore dignity and well-being to underserved children and women. Through accessible health care, empowerment programs, and sustainable development initiatives, we are igniting change—one heart at a time.
Our Focus
We provide essential medical outreach programs, preventive care education, screenings, and referrals. Through mobile clinics, partnerships with health institutions, and volunteer health professionals, we serve communities where care is often a luxury.
From entrepreneurship training to leadership mentorship, we invest in women to break cycles of dependency and poverty. We recognise that when women thrive, families and communities do too.
We implement projects that promote long-term resilience — clean water, nutrition programs, education access, menstrual hygiene education, and environmental awareness — co-created after needs assessments to suit each community.
Our Impact
We believe in measuring the difference we make not just in numbers, but in stories of healing, hope, and transformation.

Who We Are
Beacon Heart Foundation (BHF) is a Ghanaian non-profit dedicated to improving healthcare access, empowering women, and building sustainable futures for vulnerable children and women in deprived communities.
We believe that everyone deserves a fighting chance at life, regardless of their background or circumstances — supported by a team committed to integrity, compassion, equity, and transparency.
To provide accessible, quality health services and empowerment programs that promote sustainable development for children and women in under-resourced communities.
A thriving society where every child and woman has equitable access to health, opportunity, and a dignified life.

“BHF is guided by a bleeding heart — a genuine, unrelenting empathy for those in need. Every programme we run is a response to the quiet suffering of communities that are too often overlooked.”

Stories of Hope
We believe in measuring impact not just in numbers, but in stories of healing, hope, and transformation.
“Because of BHF, my shelter home which also serves as an orphanage (MaCare in Akuse) is now accessible on Google Maps. We also received food and sanitary items to cover a period of 3 months.”
“The financial literacy training changed how I think about money. I now have a small business that supports my family. It was the first time anyone had invested in my future.”
